The Faith Formation Committee exists to help our congregation grow in faith at every stage of life. Rooted in the Lutheran understanding that faith is a gift from God, the committee seeks to create opportunities for all people to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ through God's Word, the Sacraments, worship, learning, fellowship, and service.
Faith formation is more than Christian education—it is a lifelong journey that begins in Baptism and continues throughout our lives. The committee works to support that journey by encouraging ministries that help children, youth, adults, and older members learn, grow, and live out their faith together.
The committee's mission is to foster a culture where faith is nurtured both inside and outside the walls of the church. This includes supporting Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, confirmation, Bible studies, youth and family ministries, intergenerational events, service opportunities, and fellowship activities that strengthen our life together in Christ.
An important focus of the Faith Formation Committee is building connections between generations. We believe that every member of the congregation has something valuable to share. Children learn from the wisdom and experiences of older adults, while adults are inspired by the curiosity, energy, and faith of younger generations. By creating opportunities for all ages to worship, serve, and learn together, we strengthen our congregation and live out our calling as one body in Christ.
The committee also encourages members to grow in their faith beyond Sunday morning. Through devotional resources, educational opportunities, outreach ministries, and acts of service, we strive to equip God's people to live as faithful disciples in their homes, workplaces, schools, and communities.
The Faith Formation Committee invites every member of our congregation to participate in this important ministry. Whether you attend a Bible study, volunteer with children or youth, serve in an outreach project, or simply share your faith with someone else, you are helping to build a vibrant community centered on Christ. Together, we continue to grow in God's grace, support one another in faith, and share the hope of the Gospel with future generations.

Sharing Hope Through Our Little Food Pantry
Our church is blessed to serve our community through the Little Food Pantry, Located behind the chuch .A simple ministry that makes a big difference. Built on the principle of "Take what you need. Leave what you can," the pantry provides food and essential items to anyone who may need a helping hand. The Little Food Pantry is available to our neighbors every day, offering a convenient and welcoming place where individuals and families can find non-perishable food, personal care items, and other necessities. It is a reminder that God's love is shown not only through words but also through acts of kindness and generosity. We invite our church family to support this ministry by donating canned goods, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, toiletries, and other shelf-stable items. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps ensure that the pantry remains stocked for those who rely on it. As we care for our neighbors, we live out Christ's command to love one another and serve those in need. Together, we can be a source of hope, encouragement, and compassion in our community. Thank you to everyone who donates, volunteers, and prays for this ministry. Your generosity is making a lasting impact, one neighbor at a time. May our Little Food Pantry continue to be a visible reminder of God's provision and the caring heart of our church. |

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is one of the most exciting ministries of our church, providing children with a fun, faith-filled environment where they can grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Through Bible stories, music, crafts, games, science activities, and hands-on learning, children discover God's love and His promises in ways that are engaging, memorable, and meaningful. At VBS, every day is filled with opportunities to explore God's Word while building friendships and creating lasting memories. Our caring volunteers are dedicated to helping children experience the joy of Christian community and understand that they are deeply loved by God. Vacation Bible School is more than a summer program—it's an opportunity to plant seeds of faith that can last a lifetime. As children hear the Good News of Jesus Christ, they are encouraged to trust in God's grace, share His love with others, and grow as disciples in their everyday lives. Our VBS welcomes children from our congregation and the surrounding community. Whether your child is attending for the first time or returning for another summer of fun, they will be greeted with a safe, caring, and Christ-centered environment where they can learn, laugh, and grow in faith. This ministry would not be possible without the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our church family. From decorating classrooms and preparing snacks to leading activities and sharing Bible lessons, every volunteer helps make Vacation Bible School a special experience for our children. We invite you to join us for this exciting week of faith, fun, and fellowship. Come discover the joy of God's love and experience an unforgettable Vacation Bible School at our church. We look forward to welcoming your family! |
