TLC Announcements and Events – 3/23/2025
McAlisterville Ministerium Lenten Services – Join our community in worship on Sunday evenings at 7 pm at churches around the area. Tonight, we worship at Lost Creek Mennonite Church. Terry Smith is preaching on the Parable of Wedding Feast (Matt. 22:1-14).
Worship next Sunday, March 30th, includes a Healing Service of Repentance and Forgiveness. The Gospel lesson that day, from the 15th chapter of Luke, is Jesus’ parable of the prodigal father and the repentant son.
Holy Communion Class Interest – Pastor Karen offers Holy Communion classes for children in kindergarten and 1st grade and their families. Please let her know if you are interested in participating. Classes are scheduled based on the participants’ availability.
The Annual Spring Road Clean-Up is Saturday, March 29th, weather-permitting. Please meet at the church at 9 am., supplies are provided. There is a sign-up sheet in the hallway.
We need volunteers to help lead our Easter Sunrise Service and prepare St. Peter’s Grove. Please sign-up in the hallway of the church.
Much Later – mark your calendars. There will be a committee night on May 18, Council meets at 5:30 pm, Committees’ members will arrive at 7 pm. Council members will provide food.
